1945. Free Poland's Flyer to Conscripted Poles in the German Army

Niech Żyje Polska

Polacy w Armii Niemieckiej

„fortecy Europy.” Wraz z Amerykanami, Brytyjczykami, Kanadyjczykami, Francuzami walczą tam nasze Polskie Siły Zbrojne.

Wielu z Was otrzymało już wskazówki, czego od Was oczekuje Polska.

Rząd Rzeczypospolitej
Polskiej rozkazuje Wam:
Oczekują na Was bracia Wasi walczący obok naszych Sprzymierzeńców o wyzwolenie.
Niech Żyje Polska

[To the] Poles in the German Army
Violence has pushed You into the ranks of Poland's mortal enemies, who torment our Nation like torturers. Violence has forced you [to wear] German uniforms.

They make You fight against the liberating armies of the free nations, who storm the western wall of the so called "fortress Europe." Along with Americans, the British, Canadians, the French, our Polish Armed Forces are fighting there as well.

Many of you have already received instructions on what Poland expects from you.
The Government of the Republic of Poland orders You:
  • Do not shoot Your brothers — soldiers of the Allied Forces.
  • When you have to shoot — miss your target.
  • On first occasion join the Allied Forces or go into hiding and wait for their arrival.
  • Honestly inform the Allies, when You come into contact with them.
  • With the moment of finding yourself on the Allied side report that You're Polish, request separation from German prisoners of war and contact with Polish military authorities.
Waiting for You are brothers of Yours that fight for liberation arm in arm with our Allies.
Long Live Poland
